Our Environment. Our Health. Our Life.
Zero Waste Kenya is a mission-driven initiative tackling one of East Africa's most urgent challenges: building a culture of responsible waste management. They needed more than a logo — they needed a brand and platform that could carry weight with policymakers, partners, and the public alike.
We partnered with the team to define their positioning, design a complete visual identity, and build a website that turned a complex topic into an accessible call to action. The result is a brand that earns trust on first impression and a platform that scales as the movement grows.
Before designing anything, we mapped Zero Waste Kenya's audience, message, and competitive landscape. The strategy work surfaced a positioning that felt both authoritative and approachable — the foundation everything else stands on.
From mark to color system to motion principles, the identity was built to perform across protest signage, government decks, social posts, and printed reports. One brand, ten contexts, zero compromise.
The website turns waste management — a topic most people avoid — into something readable, scrollable, and shareable. Clear navigation, fast load times, and content modules the team can update as the mission evolves.
“Working with Magnate Designs was a great experience. They really took the time to understand our mission and helped us translate it into a clear brand and a website we're proud of. The new identity and platform make it much easier for people to understand our work and get involved. I'm genuinely happy with the result.”
